Just left the network video then and I had the rudest encounter I have ever had at a retail store. I have worked in retail for 10 yrs and never ever in my life been spoken to the way the lady behind the counter spoke to me. I used to get a coffee there every Tuesday now I will never ever go back. Sad because the other lady there is lovely and kind and also video shops are closing down, now I cant see that one staying open if she keeps speaking to people like that.
What a terrible experience from the "Owner" Peta. So rude and dismissive of her customers. The only thing keeping that store alive is Maryanne. Try and support the locals. On this occasion, I think not !!!Shame on you Peta. !!
I would just like to respond to a very unpleasant encounter I have just been subjected to from the owner Peta.I had received a text saying I had some late fees of which I had no knowledge of. I thought I would go to the store and ask what movies were late etc and was immediately bombarded with profanities from Peta. She wouldn't let me talk and just kept telling me to P*** off out of her shop. Luckily, a lady named Maryanne took me to one side and fully explained the situation. She said that looking at the return dates, the problem might have been that I returned the video at night and it would have booked in the next day, making it late. With that information I gladly paid the late fees. Peta still kept verbally attacking me and started to use the queuing customers for support.I am absolutely shocked by this experience and have cancelled my membership and will now use Video Ezy at Coles.
Check your video works before you take it. No refunds on dodgy videos. Maybe they're all scratched? Who would know? Either way no refunds...sorry. Very rude Manager and staff. Stay away, unless they take a good look at themselves.
