My husband and I shared the entree (very different and tasty BBQ prawns) and as mains we ordered both the gnocchi and the beef options. The gnocchi was the best, super tasty and well made! The beef was also nice, however the meat was not exactly hot because they cut it before serving. The panna cota was a huge surprise, very different from the ones I have had and was also delicious! Best meal we had in Port Macquarie, super recommend!
Food was absolutely delicious! My partner and I went there for dinner, had the lamb skewers and mozzarella for starters and the pork belly and hangar steak for the main, with the broccolini on the side. We absolutely loved it, the portions were a good size, very filling and just so yummy. Cocktails and wine were also great and the atmosphere was lovely with fairy lights and very chilled out vibe. Made for a gorgeous date night!
Another Gem within a Gem! Port Macquarie is a beautiful Gem in itself and The Botanic Wine Garden is also a Gem. So Glad we dined here! The Host / Owner of this Fancy little eatery and wine bar is a true gentleman. He is very passionate about his food , service and ambience. 10/10 on all 3 points. We ate so much and for the plates where possible , we wiped them down with the bread. We had natural oysters which were to die for , sourdough , cheese and meat platter , duck liver parfait , char grilled octopus , seared scallops , hanger steak , smoked eggplant with buffalo mozzeralla , a potato Dauphinoise . I could not fault any dish or component of any of the dishes. it was a truly magical experience. Beautiful local produce , treated with respect , presented with love and devoured with our eyes before it even hit our mouths. o yourself a favour , if only in Port Macquarie for a night , a week or a month , please visit this place and try the food on offer. you will not regret it!
