A pleasant if a little crowded sunset cruise, well worth doing
Went on sunset cruise with them, I think it was them or similar boat. Very interesting, snacks, fun & saw a dolphin.
We went on the sunset cruise around the river and canal systems. We had easily about 60 minutes of 3 to 4 dolphins playing in front of the boat during the 120 minute cruise. At one stage we had 6 dolphins. The set up of this boat allows you stand above the dolphins so you can get very close to them as they swim along in front of it. A highlight was, when coming back just past the ferry, the dolphins were closer to another boat but it seemed like as soon as they heard our boat they came racing over to play with our boat. They stayed with us right back into the wharf, to the delight of my children. The dolphins seemed to love this boat in particular. The 'light refreshments' were great: salad, cold meats, cheese, bread, biscuits, coffee and tea. There is also a bar so you can purchase drinks on board as well. As a family of 4, the excitement of my children seeing the dolphins so close in their natural environment far outweighed the cost. With food included it worked out cheaper than going to see a movie. So relaxing and also lots of fun/humour with the commentary throughout the tour. We would highly recommend this company. Whilst the boat is older it felt very stable and safe on the river. My kids have this down as their best memory of this holiday (one has even claimed it was the best day of his life). We will definitely make sure we include a dolphin cruise in each visit now! Well worth the $$$.
I love the junk boat, I had a bunch of ladies with me for my 40th.. relaxing, casual, BYO, dolphins, just beautiful. Easy going tour guide and driver and very informative!
