Portions were generous, food was well cooked and tasty. It was recommended to us by a frequent visitor of Port Macquarie. We would recommend it to others.
Stopped here again today to enjoy their fresh prawn rolls and definitely not disapointed. The staff were friendly and fast preparing orders. Shame to see the business for sale.
Truly awful! Just keep walking. They should have paid US to eat here. Spent $80 yesterday here for a family of 4x, so it was overpriced as well as being disgusting. Charged a 10% surcharge because it was Boxing Day. Ordered 2x Grilled Flakes ($10.40 each) which were Baked & the size of bait - once wed removed the bones, had about two bites. Chips were cold & everything else was greasy & gave us all a stomach ache. There was a line out the door & I thought it would be $80 well spent... not so Im afraid. It was memorable for one reason only; the very Worst Fish n Chips Ive ever had in my life! I think they must be paying for positive reviews...
Top Notch Fish'n'Chips - Stopped here for a lunch break when passing through town on a drive south from Queensland. I've been living in Queensland for 15 years and haven't experienced fish and chips this good in all that time. The lady recommended the flake but my wife wanted some fish and went with the Barra. Probably the best flake I have had. Calamari - awesome, chips outstanding. All within walking distance of the nearby park when you can sit and enjoy the feast.
Great food, i went there with my youth group and we got $80 dollars worth of chips and fish and we went on the ward and ate it. The reason we got so much is because its a big group. Also they acted so nice about it! Also yum fried mars bars good price for them and great service!!
