Hard to get past the smell of cleaning products as you walk up the stairs to get to the restaurant. But the meal portions are good, you get quite a bit for what you pay. Don't book a spot on the balcony on a summer afternoon or you will die for the heat and the glare. And they have definitely lifted their game on the quality of ingredients and presentation since I last visited. Fantastic bar tender by the way, so fast!
So disappointing. After reading so many good reviews we went for dinner. We waited 11/2 hours for our main and received them after asking for our meals twice. They offered us a free drink but our steak which we asked for as medium was almost raw. We refused to pay for it and the manager did not debate this. But all our meals were below a stage we were so loooking forward to dinner and so very disappointed.
Very poor service. Didnt show us where the booked table was, didnt have enough cutlery for the table and had to be asked 4 times before they brought more. 5 or so mistakes with different peoples drinks. Didnt collect any used water jugs/cups throughout the 2.5 hours or so we were there). Meals for the table were brought out separately over about 20 minutes.My meal was average but other people seemed pleased with the food itself (after the 1-1.5hr wait).
Amazing quality food. Beautiful steak. And what a location. Staff were excellent and always smiling. 5/5 will be back
Run by a delightful Nepalese family, this restaurant had delicious food and was great value - for wine also. Views over the water were beautiful and the service was fabulous and friendly. We cannot understand any negative reviews. We are well travelled foodies from Melbourne and the quality here was superb. Highly recommend!
