We booked in to the Deluxe King room for three nights thinking Rydges Port Macquarie is a good place to stay. The staff were absolutely amazing and helpful however the room was awful. It was musty and so outdated. Still has a shower over the bath. It had loads and loads of silicone around the shower screen and bath. It was dirty. We couldn't watchTV as the reception was non existent. Our air conditioner didn't work. We asked staff if we could have a TV that worked only to be informed that all the TV's are the same and that they are in the process of upgrading them all. They couldn't put us in another room as there were none left. We had to park out on the street that's if there was a spot to park in. The view though was brilliant and the location perfect. WAY over priced for what you get. We won't be staying here again.
Great for a night or 2, generous room size, good location and view and would recommend to others, however my only problem is lack of parking unless u want to pay the price. If u have a car that u care about like I do, its hard to park it somewhere that you know it will be fine, a few times when we came back we would fluke a car spot at the door and other times, we would park a kilometre away. Valet parking was also full during the time of my stay. I do recommend tho

Very comfortable for a one-night stay. Great location close to the water and restaurants on the main strip. Very nice pool facilities with a great view. Staff are also super friendly. Rooms could benefit from a cosmetic upgrade with nicer lighting and fresh paint.
It was a great breakfast. The first real croissant in Australia and Im from France. Very nice manager and hardworking. Good price for such a sumptuous breakfast. I highly recommend.
