Sadly only 1 star.Although extremely happy with our quick sale(right place and time)the lack of comunication between ourselves and the agent was dissapointing to say the least,more often than not we had to call to get updates.We thought the fee charged should have given us more service than we received.(small fish/big pond?)The last 2 days before final payment were the most stressfull we have ever had.Extremely happy to be able to move on.
Please excuse me, but this is my husbands first trip to Port Macquarie and the accommodation wasnt what we expected.Prior to this review i have contacted Wiseberry Thompson Port Macquarie and notified them in advance about the apartments condition.I found there was dust everywhere and the carpet was in poor condition, I was told by the agent that they dont inspect the apartment and rely on the cleaners feedback/completion of their job.The furniture were damaged with rust, wear and tear with random items of furniture, the beds were so uncomfortable that my husband had to sleep on the couch the whole stay and also because of dust allergies in the room.The owner locked most of the cabinets so we had no shelves except a few hangers on which to hang our clothes which we were not made aware of, the owners personal items were stored everywhere in the apartment including under beds, kitchen benches etc.I contacted Wiseberry Thompson about the dryer which fell off the wall and could have fallen on my husband head when he was using the front load washing machine.Im just letting other travellers know that I wouldnt recommend staying at apartment 14/59 Church St Port Macquarie, I found the listing to be misleading and for the price we paid for was so over priced. I feel that should had been compensated by the agent.Im just disappointed that the agent didnt contact us post our stay despite out feedback to them.
