The caravan park is very well maintained and very clean. It has everything from different travellers. The recreational areas outstanding. And the park is very quiet at night. And the cabins are beautifully air-conditioned for those hot summer days. And it's right next door to Aldi store. Which comes in very handy at times for those last minute things that we all seem to need while on holiday with the family. And the staff are very friendly.
After reading reviews on Google I had my doubts about this site but we gave it a go and boy was it worth it. It was the perfect launch pad for a days outing due to its central location and also the perfect place to spend a day. We stayed in a cabin with a verandah which came in handy to enjoy a coffee in the morning and hang out clothes at the end of the day. We had a 1 bedroom cabin and this was perfect for 2 adults and 1 child, I would recommend the 2 bedroom for more than 3 although 4 would fit in the one we had. The wild bunnies were endless entertainment for our 4 yr old who managed to feed a few bunnies so make sure you take carrots. The pool was always the perfect temperature and a beautiful blue which proved irresistible to resist even on windy days. The slide to the pool is great fun for kids as well. On our stay the families that were around us were all pleasant and there was no instance of noisy nights or rowdy crowds, I suppose this is due to the lack of just tent sites but works out great for this location. The staff were all pleasent and extremely helpful with all our tourist questions. Our welcome was also great and the aircon was already on in our cabin keeping it nice and cool after our trip. For groceries the Aldi next door was perfectly located and we did not even need to take any food with us.
Lovely place! Stopped just for one night. But cabins were very clean and lovely, nicer than most budget hotels! Staff super friendly and willing to help. Highly recommend.
Wow how rude. Had a man approach us at 7pm just after we turned up questioning our 2 small children and our booking. I informed him that we booked through website and he claims we didn't pay for our kids and that he was going to charge us an extra $30 per day for them to stay. I told him that we would pack up n find another place to which he then stated he would charge a cleaning fee and wouldn't refund our money. I will be putting in a complaint to fair trading etc and whoever I need to if the make an unauthorised transaction from our account.EDIT IN REPLY TO BELOW:You are clearly very sad people who possibly are in need of a holiday yourselves. We booked through your website as this is our preference usually so that owners profit more than the booking agencies. We had been travelling for awhile with no other issues from the other 15 places across Australia. Your unprofessional approach to the situation was unnecessary and over looking our email confirmation it does not state children nor does it states no children. Your wife asked if it was only 2 Adults and my partner said yes. Had your wife asked if there was any children he also would have said yes. If there was an error then it was in your system on your website I suggest you look into that and possibly look at a course in how to communicate and approach people in an appropriate professional manor.Your response has only confirmed this with clearly again no apology from you on the matter. Obviously just a money hungry business here as you were clearly after our money whether we stayed or not. No children were able to sleep in those bunks provided no linen, no towels were provided yet you still want our money but for what service exactly? This is not how you treat good customers.
So friendly. I called up to arrange late check in. Mark advised the best way to get to the park and all the amenities available both at the park and around town for late dinner. Had little note with directions and instruction for check-in to my cabin. Check-in was super easy and exactly as described, is on main street very easy to find on googlemaps. Cute little cabin perfect for my one night stay. Very clean and parking space right outside. Definitely recommend and will stay again!
